This time around, users searching for news on the Oscars fall prey to the latest blackhat search engine optimization (SEO) attack that uses the search terms “oscar winners 2010 live” >> The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team, or US-CERT for short, has issued a new vulnerability note. However, this particular “vulnerability” concerns a rather unusual product: a USB charger for rechargable batteries. The Energizer DUO is a charger for two AA or AAA batteries that plugs into USB ports. While no software is needed to use the charger, Energizer did provide an application that would display the charge level of the batteries >> Spam about diet or weight loss plans has been around for ages now, mostly spreading through email. However, it has recently made its rounds on Twitter, compromising unknowing accounts and spreading itself via those it has infected.
